Kings Electric charged me for a service call which they never showed up for... So I called their office and explained the situation and the lady that answered the phone ... She said that she would check with the technician and call me back and refund the money back to the card. But she never refunded my money nor did she call me back. We were called out to the house because the instant water heater is not working. I'm recommending the unit be replaced. All of the electrical components are in good shape.

We were called out because the tenant said that the kitchen circuit is not functioning as needed, the stove doesn't work and there are multiple lights flickering in her bedroom. During my evaluation I found a bad 50 amp receptacle, the kitchen outlets are not gfci protected, and the dimmer is not compatible with the light bulbs. To solve these problems we need to replace the 50 amp receptacle and the Bedroom dimmer switch. We also need to add gfci protection to the kitchen. We were called out to the residence to give an estimate on solving the electrical issues on the home inspection report. There are a few items on the list that we can help with. On the report it states: - there are open grounds throughout the house. We can by code replace each duplex receptacle with a GFCI receptacle. - the dryer receptacle needs to be installed properly, with the proper wire and receptacle. - the ground clamp at the back of the house needs to be attached to the water pipe. (Note: a GFCI without a ground will not trip with a tester only by pressing the test button on the receptacle.)
