Hey Mary! Thank you for calling kings electric & a/c once again! Today I came to your home because we thought that the missing switch leg for the fan was capped off inside the junction box in your kitchen. After troubleshooting and opening everything up, I came to conclusion that the ceiling fan does not get any power from that switch box, but once again the wiring for that fan is crossed and both power and neutral are hot. I’ve given you and your husband a solution that can fix all of that and bring back that fan in your living room. If you have any questions or concerns, please give us a call. I hope you guys have a great Day! Your electrical technician, Xavier

1)——Check for loose connections at panel and main breaker. 2)——Check meter connection and ensure meter jaws are in tact. 3)——Try to observe flickering lights by mimicking instances described by tenant. 4)——Check for loose connections at outlets in bedroom. 5)——Repair outlet in bedroom. FOUND: FLICKERING LIGHTS- There were no loose connections at panel or at main breaker. Meter connection and jaws were good. There was no evidence of the main breaker failing. Based on the evidence we know of, I have determined the problem to be 1 of 2 things, FPL or the main breaker. If it’s the main breaker, it could be internal and the only way to test the theory of it being the main breaker would be to replace it and see what happens. BEDROOM OUTLETS- There was a broken neutral which was causing no power to 2 outlets. I reconnected bad neutral at 1 outlet and restored power to both outlets.
